Casambi Art4Light Professional Solar shading control IP66

This ABS (plastic) IP66 box contains 2 outputs that work perfectly together with the Casambi app. You can use the output for, for example, electric fencing, blinds, curtains and screens that have an 'up' and a 'down' wire, where the motor voltage may be between 12V (DC-AC) and 230V (DC-AC). A potential-free contact can also be connected, such as a printed circuit board input. The box comes standard with 2 pcs 230V / 10A outputs; 'up and down'. This Art4Light shutter comes with two M20 blind glands which you can replace with the two included M20 glands if you wish.

All components can be exchanged in case of malfunction, and the box is equipped with a slow 10A (5x20mm) fuse. This interchangeable fuse protects the electrical components as well as the connected 230V-AC motor. (note that if you are going to use other motor voltages you will take care of a motor fuse yourself, see electrical diagram).

If you want to enter the wiring at the back of the box, the only position where drilling is allowed is in the 5/8 pipe. You can seal the nozzle afterwards to keep the IP value.

If you want to switch another motor voltage, remove the 2 purple wire bridge from the caps and connect your own power supply to the white wire and the black wire taking into account that you provide a fused power supply that provides the maximum current and not exceed the 2 OMRON relays. Make sure to leave the other caps on the blue and brown wire;

Operation Casambi Art4Light shutter in the app;

After you have added both nodes (actors) to your network, they will appear in the lamp field;

First, it is good to know that your connected motor will not respond if you operate "all lights" in the app, which often leads to uncontrolled and unwanted screen movements.

Second, it is good to know that certain settings are required in the network, we can help you with this (also remotely). The explanation below therefore only applies if the settings have been made.

Operation from the lamp field;
'Open Garden screen' - a short press will open the screen to the maximum, after 1 minute the voltage of the motor drops.
'Close Garden screen' - a short press will close the screen, after 1 minute the motor voltage drops.
If you want to stop the screen at an intermediate position, briefly press the push button again while the screen is moving.

The electrical diagram below shows that you can also continue to use ordinary push buttons, taking into account the follow-up time of that minute as described above.

Operation from a group;
If you have different engines you can also create a group in the Casambi app that for example mentions 'Open-commands'. If you give a short press on that group, all engines that are part of that group will open, and you can stop all engines by clicking again. If you want to operate a motor from that group separately, just double-click on the group and choose your motor;

Further possibilities;
*You can force a certain pre-position of your screen, for example 50% closed.
*You can issue a command; "all lights off" and thereby also close all screens.
*You can have curtains closed when you activate your alarm system.
* if the alarm goes off on burglary you can set all lights to 100% and all screens open in the same scene.
* When you go on vacation, you can automatically close the curtains every night at a specific time.
* You can open your gate with an Enocean (stick) switch when the doorbell rings.
* You can close your entrance gate every night at, for example, 23:00
* etc.
